TAMID at Northeastern was the first TAMID chapter to officially launch a track focused specifically on software consulting and software engineering. The track is full-stack and can focus on front-end, back-end, database, design, etc. Deliverables can include dashboard creation, full-fledge software projects, and app/website development.
Last semester, we worked with Sogo Services, which is an Israeli startup that automates business processes through AI, machine learning, and natural language processing. Some of their clients include AT&T, Cisco, and Kia. A team of TAMID members created an analytics dashboard, with more experienced members working closely with beginners to ensure a successful project. Outside-of-the-classroom technologies used included Angular, Git, and Amazon Web Services.
