TAMID is an international organization and tight-knit community that educates students on consulting and investing through the lens of the Israeli startup ecosystem.
What are the different TAMID tracks?
Education: After joining TAMID, members are required to attend educational workshops for their first semester. The Education track teaches vital start-up knowledge surrounding the Israeli ecosystem, helps members hone their public speaking skills, and engages students in hands-on activities like creating a mini stock pitch.
Investment Fund: TAMID’s Investment Fund grants students the opportunity to conduct real investment research and to work with a team to manage an equity investment portfolio. Teams have the opportunity to compete in an organization-wide trading competition with chapters across the nation.
Consulting: The consulting track provides students with first-hand experience working directly with the top management at innovative Israeli Startups. Students work on diverse projects that require market research and implementing creative solutions.
Tech Consulting: The tech consulting track focuses on providing software consulting and engineering services to clients such as AT&T, Cisco, and Kia. Members will get the opportunity to combine their coding and tech background to aid in innovative Israeili projects. Northeastern TAMID is the first chapter to launch this new track!
Fellowship: One of the most exciting opportunities that TAMID offers is Fellowship, an 8-week summer internship program in Israel. Fellows work with host companies in either Tel Aviv or Jerusalem while meeting TAMID members from around the world.
“I joined TAMID because of the professional experience you get by working with real clients on consulting projects and deliverables. I’m considering working in consulting after college so this was the perfect way to jumpstart my Freshman year.”
- Micah Kim, Fall Education 2020, first year Industrial Engineer major
